Prepaid water metering for utilities and estates
A water meter must fit the pipe network and the customer service model. Start with hydraulic performance, then define how credit, valve operation and maintenance will work in practice.
Discuss your projectSpecify the hydraulic conditions
State nominal diameter, installation length, flow range, pressure, temperature and water quality. Check orientation and enclosure conditions against the exact variant. Do not select solely by pipe diameter.
Define credit and valve policies
Agree low-credit alerts, emergency credit, disconnection behaviour and reconnection steps with the operator. Local customer-protection requirements and essential-service policies should be reflected in the operating configuration.
Make maintenance part of the supply plan
- Battery access and replacement interval under actual operating conditions.
- Valve exercise, blockage handling and meter replacement workflow.
- Vending records, mechanical index checks and customer support.
