Prepaid meter tender compliance checklist
Keep each technical promise traceable to a product configuration and a supporting document. This checklist helps a procurement or bidding team ask focused questions; it does not replace the solicitation or a formal conformity assessment.

Identify the proposed equipment
- Use the exact model, variant, electrical or hydraulic rating and firmware revision.
- Separate standard functions, priced options and proposed deviations.
- Check that pictures and specification tables describe the same configuration.
Review certificate scope
Check certificate holder, issuing body, model/type, active firmware, communication profile, dates and applicable scope. A membership certificate is different from product certification. Certification of one variant does not automatically cover another. Request current documents for the proposed supply.
Write an evidence matrix
- Tender clause → proposed response → evidence reference → open issue.
- Record clarification requests and the version of each submitted document.
- Assign owners and deadlines for unresolved technical questions.
Include acceptance and support
Define sample tests, factory or pre-shipment inspection where required, delivery lots, packing, manuals, training, warranty and spare parts. For government or donor-funded tenders, use the actual evaluation criteria and required forms in the issued documents.
